Practice Facilities

Undoubtedly one of the finest practice facilities in the country, the Texas A&M golf teams and Traditions members are literally “at home on the range”. With 8 target greens and sand bunkers, the 349 yard Bermuda Grass driving range is the perfect place to practice and warm up. A 6,500 square foot Tif-dwarf Bermuda practice green and a 4,000 square foot chipping area with greenside bunker are additional features of the practice area. 
Traditions Club has recently recently installed two CoverShots Mobile Canopies--one for the Texas A&M golf team; another for the practice facility. CoverShots provide protection from the rain and heat, especially the harmful
effects of UV rays thereby reducing the risk of skin cancer. The tent effect of
the awning on a CoverShots Mobile Canopy affords the golfer the opportunity to practice on natural
grass, rather than on mats, with little regard to the weather.  In addition, the Traditions Golf staff provides golf instruction to members of all ages and skill level. By offering several junior and ladies clinics throughout the year, the entire family is included in golfing activities. No one is too young or old to start enjoying the game that defines Tradition and exemplifies self discipline.
